The hotel was built in the early part of the 1900s as a private house and still retains much of its grandeur. Located in the Cambridgeshire village of Duxford, this fine country house hotel offers ideal accommodation for visitors to Cambridge, Cambridge University, Newmarket, Thaxted, Saffron Walden, the Imperial War Museum (Duxford Air Museum) and is convenient for Stansted Airport. Duxford Lodge is located just a few minutes from Junction 10 of the M11. Leave the motorway at J10 (A505) and turn eastwards towards Sawston. At the first roundabout, turn right towardsDuxford and Ickleton. Follow this road until you reach a junction with a small grassed island. Go straight across and the entrance to Duxford Lodge Hotel is on your left.
