Welcome to our thatched, Victorian railway carriage is set in 4 acres of landscaped gardens, in the quintessentially English village of Barrington, 7 miles South West of Cambridge, on the river Cam. It provides comfortable and romantic accommodation. Property is conveniently situated near mainline Station to Kings Cross, and has a good Pub and shop nearby in the village. Here you can relax in the carriage itself, or outside on the covered patio area, complete with comfy chairs, an open fire BBQ area, or explore the historic city of Cambridge. You can also go for a gentle stroll on any of the many countryside walks that surround us, enjoy great food and hospitality at our local Pub, the Royal Oak (which overlooks the legendary Barrington Green, 5 minutes walk away), watch some cricket on the green, or sip a sun-downer overlooking our orchard.
